As we’re coming up towards Thanksgiving, and more importantly Thanksgiving Break, we asked Mustangs what they’re thankful for this year.

A junior named Tori Hashimoto stated, “I’m most grateful for my loving family. My mom makes some of the best food you’ll ever taste, and she always listens to me. I’m so glad to have them in my life.”
“I’m grateful for my family and my sweet dog. I love listening to them and telling everyone how my day went,” said Leah Tran, a junior.
Family and pets are often a common answer as they bring joy into our lives. Many parents watch over us, provide for us, give us the entertainment and resources we need. While many pets are some of the sweetest creatures you’ll meet.
A junior named Leila Streetz said, “I’m thankful for my family and friends as well who always have my back. But I’m also thankful for the school’s lunch cookies and the chocolates they sell from various programs.”
Sergio Munoz, junior, said “I’m thankful for caffeine to keep me awake during long school hours.”
Maria Guadalupe De Jesus Vasquez, a junior, said, “I’m thankful for food. It provides energy and I love the taste of all sorts of different kinds.”
Food can provide energy, and you can share it around with other people. I know I love to get food for my friends and share it with them, and they always say thank you for it. It can be taken for granted often, but when you share it with your loved ones over a kitchen table it’s hard to forget how much it brings people together.
A freshman named Elie Guerrero stated, “I’m thankful for my amazing friends. I love to hang out with them at lunch and after school.”
Justina Mikhael, a junior, said, “I’m thankful for my family, and how amazing my friends are. They light up my world and I’m always laughing around with them.”
I’m thankful for my amazing friends as well. They always make me laugh and I look forward to seeing them at school everyday and mess around. I love sitting in the back of class with them and joking around while doing our work, and I appreciate them making time to all hang out with one another. Friends bring lots of joy and laughter into your life and I wouldn’t know what to do without them.
