Noah Kahan, an American singer-songwriter, just released his long-awaited album “The Great Divide”. Known for his catchy melody and poetic lyrics, Noah Kahan had released a single song as a teaser to his recent album before announcing the release date. The single song was called “The Great Divide” and was released on January 30, 2026.
During that time period between his single song release and his new album, he also launched another song called “Porch Light”. Now, on April 24 2026, Noah Kahan has finally released his album featuring some songs such as “Doors” and “Dashboard”.
Noah Kahan also had upcoming tour dates for his new album as well. He is playing at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California, on August 15. He is also playing at San Diego, California, at Petco Park on August 17. Tickets are currently ranging between $124 and $190.
“I’m currently hoping to get tickets to see it,” says Olivia Hernandez, a sophomore and long-time fan of Noah Kahan, “They’re expensive, but what concert isn’t?”
Noah Kahan’s music typically ranges from folk-pop and indie-folk, with some of his most famous songs being “Stick Season” and “Northern Attitude”. He has collaborated with other famous artists such as Hozier, Post Malone, and Zach Bryan as well.
His newest release has been receiving positive feedback, as many fans have been excited since he released snippets of some of the songs on social media. Fans have been waiting for months, and his last release was in 2022 with the album “Stick Season”.
This long-awaited album’s main idea focuses on Noah Kahan’s past and present self. This is why it is called “The Great Divide”, as Noah Kahan feels a strong division between the future and past. The songs reflect on his own personal growth, the fame he has recently received, and his feeling of no sense of belonging to his old town.

“I love his writing,” says Kathrine Rodriguez, another fan of Noah Kahan and a freshman, “And I also love the guitar he always has in his songs, it’s very catchy.”
Personally, the new album is catchy with many well-written songs. The songs “The Great Divide” and “American Cars” are amazing, and the rest of his songs are just as good. Noah Kahan loves to focus and write on his hometown and his own personal struggles with leaving and gaining fame. To which many people today can relate about growing older and leaving behind people and things they used to love, and the guilt following.
Noah Kahan is also selling vinyls and CDs for his new album, and merchandise like sweaters and hats to promote it. You can buy it on his website, where you can also buy tickets to his upcoming concerts.
