NFL star Antonio Brown was reported absent from practice on Monday, Sept. 17. There has been a lot of speculation on whether or not he missed because of the loss against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday or he wants to get traded based on his comment on Twitter which reads: “Trade me let’s find out.” The Steelers are 0-1-1, which is a drawback from the previous year as they were 2-0. He returned to practice Wednesday less

frustrated than before. His agent commented, “This is a non-story that has been blown out out of proportion. We can end this right here and now.” It seems that he is going to be staying with the Steelers Organization and will play on Monday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Students from Eleanor Roosevelt who are football fans, gave their opinion on the whether or not it was right for Antonio Brown to miss practice based on his feelings for the  game on Sunday. Jacob Nava, a sophomore at Eleanor Roosevelt, and a Green Bay Packers fan said, “I believe it was wrong for him to skip practice. But, I understand how he was feeling. He needs to get ready for the next game.” I interviewed a Pittsburgh Steelers fan to get another perspective on the situation. His name is Abraham Estrada, a Junior from Eleanor Roosevelt, who said, “I think it’s childish and very unprofessional. This by far the worst he has played for the Steelers. He had a very poor performance on Sunday. I feel like he can still perform well, he just needs to keep his head up and focus on the rest of the season.” Stay tuned Mustangs, as the Pittsburgh Steelers will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday @ 5:15 PM.
