“Jujutsu Kaisen” Season Three dropped in the early days of January, the first episode coming out on January nine, and six episodes are confirmed to already be released so far. Even in just the early first few episodes of the season, there has already been much action. Following season two, season three is set to mostly focus on the plot point in Jujutsu Kaisen that features the Culling Game, a tournament-like event where our main characters and other side characters in the show fight to the death in an almost Hunger Games setting. So far, the animation in the early part of the season has been extremely good and well-received, and the fights between the characters are even higher quality than the first two seasons. Overall, the show has definitely undergone a decently drastic visual upgrade that is pretty noticeable compared to the last two seasons.
Recently, though, there has been a huge amount of controversy about the season’s recent changes. The studio behind “Jujutsu Kaisen” has decided to hand off the animation for the rest of the season to a studio that has been notorious for not making very good animation. Fans are now worried that this studio will ruin the season finale, which is one of the most anticipated fights in the entire show. Fans are also worried that the animation quality will most likely be downgraded from the start of the season, which will ruin and not give full justice to the final fight that is supposed to take place, and undermine it for newer anime watchers who don’t have full context for the history and anticipation that lead all the way up to this fight.

That being said, many fans are still excited for the new season.
“Overall, the season is very action-packed, lots of fighting, lots of characters, and even though I’m worried about the state of the final fight, I still feel it’ll have a huge impact on the community that likes Jujutsu Kaisen,” said ERHS freshman Kingsley Gao.
ERHS freshmen and ESTEM student Jeremiah Ward also shared this excitment, saying that that “I was super pumped for the season to come out, and now that it is, I absolutely cannot wait for the final fight, even if it’s disappointing in animation it’s still going to be the thing we’ve all been waiting for, for a long time.”
