Steam is an online platform where people all around the world can purchase video games. They previously released their very own console called the Steam Deck a couple of years ago. It was highly successful and sold over six million of them. To continue this success, they announced their brand new line-up called the Steam Machine on November 12.
For the lineup, they will be releasing Steam Machine, Steam Controller, and Steam Frame, each being a PC, controller, and a VR headset, respectively. Release of these items has already excited many people around the world, and the chance that some people had to do test runs has fueled their excitement even further.

“I always wished to have a Steam Deck, but now I’m going to go bankrupt because of this, probably,” says Zachary Lee, a senior who plays video games on a daily basis.
Zachary Le is an avid gamer whose recent wish was to buy a Steam Deck, and now it seems like more stuff has been added to his wish list.
Ethan Shiginaka, a video game enthusiast, also shared his opinion on the new Stream Machines. Just like Zachary, he wishes to own a Steam Machine when it comes out. Ethan is a senior who loves video games, and he is very excited about the news of Steam Machines.
“If I knew this was going to come out a long time ago, then I would’ve started saving years ago to buy most of them,” Shiginaka said
Despite the excitement and anticipation, all three Steam Machines have been announced to be released in 2026 Q1. This means it will release somewhere between January and March of 2026. No matter how much more or less successful this will be compared to the Stream team Deck, this will be the first step of Valve’s expansion of Steam’s platform availability.
