El Chapo extradited to U.S.

Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman has been extradited to the United States and could face life in prison. His offences include drug trafficking and smuggling both in and out of the country. California and Texas both requested extradition. Guzman has already broken out of two high security Mexican prisons. On January 27th, the infamous leader of the Sinaloa cartel will go on trial in Brooklyn, New York. Members of the Sinaloa cartel are notorious for hiring hitmen to organize murders and kidnappings. It is very unlikely that he will ever escape from his new American prison.
