Amanda Hollis, Journalist
Amanda Hollis is a girl who is creative and always determined to finish a project and make that project the best project every time. She joined journalism her junior year wanting to become better at writing. In her first year she enjoyed writing about topics she loved. She shows passion if everything and gives effort in everything.
Joining journalism has been the best thing for her giving her a better understanding of activities going on and also giving her the knowledge for those activities. Before journalism she was comfortable going up to other people and asking them questions but as the year went on she was comfortable going up to people she didn’t know and got the information for a story. Approaching her second year as a Senior she has new ideas and is looking forward to making new pieces and being more active as a journalist.
