In a world full of unique drinks, the idea of the best drink often comes down to convenience and taste. Many people choose drinks that promise energy or taste extremely good. But the best drink is not the trendiest option. It is the most reliable, versatile and healthy.
That drink is water.
Some students say energy drinks are the best choice because they provide quick energy during long school days. With packed schedules and constant demands, staying alert is a priority.
An ERHS student Jonathan Lin said, “The overall best drinks are energy drinks since a lot of people needs it to function.”
Although the boost of energy may seem helpful, it often comes with high levels of sugar and caffeine, which can lead to energy crashes.

Other students agree that water is the best drink because of its overall benefits. Unlike other options, it consistently supports the body without negative side effects.
One ERHS student Peter Huang shared, “The best drink is water because we need water to survive, and most drinks contain water.”
This perspective highlights why water stands out compared to other drinks due to it’s vitality in the human body.
Water stands apart because of its reliability. It’s been essential throughout human history and remains a constant in daily life. Unlike other drinks, it does not depend on popularity or marketing.

Water is also versatile, as water can be consumed at any time, with any meal, and in any setting. It does not overpower flavors and adapts to different needs, whether during exercise or rest.
Most importantly, water is one of the healthiest options. It contains no sugar, caffeine or artificial ingredients. It supports basic body functions and keeps people hydrated without negative side effects.
