The 2026 Fortnite Championship Series, or FNCS, will offer a total of $10,000,000+ worth of prize pool money throughout this year’s entire competitive season.
The 2026 FNCS roadmap will be long and have many chances to earn lots of money:
Major 1 Finals – April 25-26 – Part of $10 Million Overall Prize Pool
Major 1 Summit (In Person Tournament AKA LAN) – May 30-31 – $1,000,000 will be given throughout all players
Major 2 Finals – August 8-9 – Part of $10 Million Overall Prize Pool
Major 3 Finals – October 10-11 – Part of $10 Million Overall Prize Pool
Global Championship – November – $2,000,000 will be given throughout all players
This season, the format has returned to a Duo format, unlike last season’s Trio format. 50 of the best Duos in Fortnite will make it to the Global Championship in November for a chance for the title, and the top prize money. But who are the top Duos who are likely to win it all in November?
Peterbot & Pollo are a top Duo, and won the 2024 FNCS Global Championship title and prize money together. They won this title with almost 1,000 points, which is a record breaking win. Peterbot is a very aggressive and strategic teammate, he is the IGL (In Game Leader) of the Duo. Peterbot has an incredible aim, and is very good at solo clutches. He won many games in the 2024 FNCS Global Championship after Pollo died, and solo clutched, leading them to the title. While Pollo is the supporter teammate in the Duo. He gives Peterbot the best loot he may find, and heals Peterbot whenever needed, and supplies him with materials before Peterbot runs out. With these perfect skills that a Duo needs, they just may win there second title this year.
Now which Duo have many people wanting them to win?
Well for me, that Duo would be Clix & Higgs. They are in the top 4 best Duos in the US, and I really want to see Clix win his first FNCS Global Championship this year. They placed 18th in last year’s Globals, with a performance that could have definitely been better, but was decent. They have great chemistry together, similar to Peterbot & Pollo in my opinion, but Clix & Higgs just may not be as skilled as them currently. I believe though, that Clix & Higgs have become much better together since last Globals, and have time to prepare and improve over this year in FNCS, and maybe win their first title.
I asked ERHS Freshmen Selah Barrett who she wants to see win the 2026 FNCS Global Championship, Clix or Peterbot, and this was her response:
“I think Clix should win the FNCS Global Championship because he’s been grinding competitive Fortnite for years and has stayed one of the most popular players the whole time. He brings a huge audience to tournaments and makes FNCS more exciting to watch. It would also be an amazing storyline if he finally won the biggest tournament after getting close so many times. Even though players like Peterbot are incredibly skilled, a Clix win would be one of the most memorable moments in Fortnite esports.”
I asked ERHS Freshmen Magnus Hung the same question, and this was his response:
“Clix should win the FNCS Global Championship since he’s stayed consistent in nearly winning tournaments. He’s played Fortnite professionally since 2019 and it would truly be a major breakthrough for him. It would also become an iconic moment in the game’s history and inspire others.”
As the 2026 FNCS Season begins, the Fortnite community can only hope it goes well for their favorite players, and maybe even an unexpected Duo winning the title?
