With a new Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers being opened in the future in Eastvale, it’s important to know if it’s worth eating there. As a person who has had Raising Cane’s many times, I can confidently give my personal review.
The food overall is a seven out of ten. The fries are pretty good and are well salted all the time, from my experience. The chicken is mostly always crispy, however it lacks seasoning and flavor by itself. The toast is probably my favorite food item there, especially if you get it buttered and toasted on both sides. The food place also has coleslaw, however, I’m not a fan of coleslaw, so it’s okay.

However, the main factor that makes the food better is their own sauce. It makes the chicken much less bland, as the sauce has flavor and seasoning. The sauce goes with everything, except the coleslaw, of course. It’s popular because it’s what makes Raising Cane’s, and gives the food more flavor.
Besides the food, they also serve their own lemonade and tea. They have sweet and unsweetened tea, which I prefer sweet. However, both teas are pretty good and refreshing. Their lemonade is also delicious and refreshing. I think the drinks are the highlight of the whole place.
Mila Hernandez, a freshman at ERHS, expressed her love for the place.
“The food is amazing, I wish I could have it every day,” Hernandez says. “The sauce is really yummy, and it makes the food better. I could rate it a million out of ten, but I will say ten out of ten.”
Jimena Lagunas, a freshman at ERHS, shares her experience with Raising Cane’s.
“I rate it a six and a half out of ten,” Lagunas says. “The food is kinda bland, unless you add the sauce, but I still like it. I like lemonade because it’s not too sweet and not bitter.”
Overall, I find it worth it to go to Raising Cane’s, however, it’s understandable if others don’t. The food depends on their own sauce or ketchup. If you are a person who likes flavorful foods, this probably isn’t the place for you. The food is just decent without the sauce, in my opinion.
