The senior class of 2026 has officially entered the final stretch of the school year, with important events and deadlines now underway. Here are details regarding graduation preparation, Grad Night, prom, and other senior traditions.
One of the first required steps for graduating seniors is reserving their free cap and gown rental. Students must submit their measurements here to ensure they receive the correct graduation attire. While the rental itself is free, families may choose to purchase optional items such as graduation announcements, class rings, or keepsake caps and tassels through the Senior Package Booklet.
Senior Mia Tran shared her excitement about preparing for graduation. “It doesn’t feel real that we are finally at this point. Submitting my measurements for my cap and gown made it feel official,” she said.

Students will receive additional information during the upcoming Senior Assembly, scheduled for Tuesday, January 27. During the assembly, seniors will be briefed on graduation-related activities, end-of-year expectations, and important timelines. Administrators encourage all seniors to attend, as the assembly serves as a central source of information for these upcoming events.
Another highly anticipated event is Grad Night at Universal Studios, also known as Grad Bash. This year’s event will take place on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. Tickets are currently on sale at the student store for $25o with ASB and $260 without ASB. A signed permission slip is required at the time of purchase in order to attend.
Senior Lauren Tabuena plans to attend this special night. “Going to Universal with my friends on Senior Night is something I’ve been looking forward to since freshman year,” she said.
In addition, prom tickets are now on sale, allowing seniors to begin planning one of the most memorable nights of their high school experience. Seniors can also participate in the Senior Grad Walk, a tradition that allows students to revisit their former elementary and middle schools.
With graduation approaching quickly, school staff encourage seniors to stay organized and regularly check for updates as more senior event information becomes available.
