What’s up Mustangs, I’m back with a new year and a new semester.
So far, I feel great cause I am still with all my friends, teachers, and classes. Now, I have a second lunch, which is going great for me because I can get all of my work done before I go out to lunch with my friends and have a great time.
There are many events to look forward to this semester! Some of these include the winter rally which is coming up next Monday, The Battle of The Bands, and Prom on April 12.
There is also Filipino Heritage Night on February 12, Lip Sync, eSTEM Expo, the spring pep rally, The powder puff game, and ERHS theater’s spring musical, All Shook Up.
Seniors can look forward to Senior Sunset and Grad Brash, which are both taking place at the end of May.
As you can see there are many fun events going on here at our school this second semester.
Adin Feria, a student at ERHS, shared how he felt about returning to school for the second semester.
“So far I feel pretty good I feel like it’s going pretty well my grades are going up and I am doing good in all of my classes.”
Dr. Rufus Taylor, one of the assistant principals here at Roosevelt, shared his thoughts on how students are doing this semester.
“So far it’s been going great, as long our kids understand the new policy of the cell phones I think we will have a great second semester. That is the only thing that is holding us back,” he explains, “I know it’s hard to put away those cell phones and those earbuds, but I think our kids know that we want to focus on what is going on in the classroom.” Tay
It looks like this second semester is going to be a great one! As always to the people who read this article thank you for reading and have a great. 🙂
