Boys’ Golf Falls to King

On Thursday, March 16th, Roosevelt’s boys’ golf team fell to King High School by a score of 193-223.

The match took place at General Old Golf Course in Riverside, California; it was Roosevelt’s second league contest of the year. The loss brought Roosevelt’s league record to 1-1.

Matthew Huo had the lowest score of the day with a 37 (+1). Four King golfers shot 38 (+2) on the day.

As league competition heats up, Roosevelt will have a chance to improve their standing. Next week, Roosevelt will play against Santiago at the Glen Ivy Golf Course, and Centennial will travel to Roosevelt’s home course (Goose Creek). Additionally, Roosevelt will participate in the Shark Invitational on Friday; it’ll be their last competition before a two-week break (Spring Break).
