Eastvale – On February 28th 2018, Eastvale deputies responded to a medical aid call at Harada Heritage Park at approximately 11:54 am. The first responders were the Cal Fire personnel; they arrived at the scene and reportedly discovered a 74 year old Eastvale resident deceased in presumably his own vehicle. Deputies say the vehicle was at rest in the designated parking lot of Harada Park. A 911 caller told emergency dispatchers they had spotted an elderly man sitting unresponsive inside a vehicle. Upon discovery detectives response to the scene was to immediately begin by initiating an official death investigation.
The park, which is located at 13099 65th Street, is the largest Eastvale-area Park. It features amenities such as a large skate park, basketball courts and sports fields, playground and picnic areas, a concession stand and dog park. The park also features parking lots on three of its four sides.
