Anticipating the IPhone 8

As the Apple release date for the iPhone 8 is rapidly approaching, Apple users and investors are definitely anticipating the new design and features Apple has included. As of today, we are four days from the release of the iPhone 8, 7s, and 7s plus, which is being officially unveiled on Tuesday, Sept. 12 at an event in California.

No official statements have been released and an executive at Apple manufacturer Foxconn hasn’t revealed much, besides the fact that “this new device will definitely not be cheap.”

The design and features of the iPhone 8 in particular, is expected to be completely redesigned. What will these new features include precisely? Well, some detail regarding what to expect has been released and can definitely be interpreted as Apple’s desire to distinguish this new release from its previous.

While there are various new features that have been revealed to be incorporated in the iPhone 8, the most altering features include its edge-to-edge display, contrary to previous versions of the iPhone; its incorporation of facial recognition software – an entirely new feature – and maybe the most appalling feature of all – it’s caused controversy among the Apple community – the complete removal of the illustrious  home button. These improvements and components the iPhone 8 is expected to incorporate has definitely sparked curiosity and controversy among those who are anticipating the arrival.

“There are more rumors floating and more press articles and mentions of new things,” CEO of Apple, Tim Cook states. But regardless of the speculation, Apple, as well as Tim Cook, assures the release won’t be a disappointment.
