Rush to Clubs!

The beginning of a brand new school year is always lots of fun!  Next Wednesday, August 30th, Club Rush is taking place for the 2017-2018 school year during both lunches.  All clubs from Future Business Leaders of America to Sabor Latino will have tables surrounding the perimeter of the quad for everyone to explore.

Mustangs!  Make sure to sign up for clubs that you have interest in.  Whether you are a freshman or a senior, colleges will look into how well-rounded and the number of activities all their applicants participated in.

No matter if one is an artist or a show series fanatic, there is a club for everyone.  According to FBLA president, Sai Gorijavolu, the most exciting part about Club Rush is being able to meet new people.  On top of that, she told me, “There is not one particular type of person who can join.  Those who excel with technology can be creative and create our club T-shirts.  On top of that, those who are outgoing are of course welcome.  Everyone has a part in FBLA, and we encourage people to bring all their friends.”

For all ERHS knows, you may be the next president of one of our very own clubs on campus.  Freshman such as Ian Carr, Carly Lightner, and Fadda Manasrah would like to see sports clubs throughout their first Club Rush of high school.  Carly Lightner said, “I’m in water polo, so it’d be difficult to participate, but it would be nice to see sports clubs.”  No matter what you’re involved in, there’s always time to attend lunch meetings for a club that catches your eye.

Club Rush will give every Mustang an opportunity to find other people with multiple scenarios.  This is the time to ask questions and join as many clubs as possible in order to discover yourself.

Have fun at Club Rush, Mustangs!
