Summer is approaching and for the days you don’t want to lay in bed all day watching Netflix, here are some ideas on how to spend your summer 2017.

Visit a Museum: Look at some nice art at LACMA, MOMA, The Broad, or The Getty Villa to name a few — all based within Los Angeles.

Moonlight Movies on the Beach: Sit down and relax with friends and family to enjoy a movie on the beach! It’s even free! For more info visit alfredosbeachclub.com

Plan a Picnic: Visit your local park with some food, blankets, and a speaker for music. Enjoy a picnic in the park with people of your choice and take in the summer environment.

Watch the Sunrise/Sunset During a Hike: Find a hiking location and spend your morning or evening watching the sun rise or set.

Get Creative with a Pool: Fill the pool with glow sticks or inflatable pools to have an epic swimming pool sleepover. Or get a kiddie pool, fill it with foam and have a foam party with friends and/or family.

Spend Time with Loved Ones: For some of us, it might be our last summer at home as high school students. Remember to embrace the moments with all you can.
