Guardians of the Galaxy Vol: 2 ( Pre-Movie Review )

Angel Villarreal, Staff Writer

Gaurdians of the Galaxy Vol: 2 is now in theaters across the United States. It is rated PG-13, so anyone who is under the age of 13 is advised that the movie contains elements that may not be appropriate for people under 13 years of age.

I am extremely excited to see this movie, mainly because of the characters and what they might go through. From what we know based off trailers and descriptions, the main plot of the movie will be about Peter Quill’s (Starlord) true parentage. In the trailers, Peter’s dad (Ego) reveals himself in a scene.  If you guys did not know, Ego the Living Planet is very powerful and because of this, his blood lineage might make Peter a demi-god. Peter does not fully know his true powers, so I am hoping Ego will guide him in unleashing his full potential. We have also seen Baby Groot grow up larger than he was since the last time we saw him in Gaurdians of the Galaxy. Baby Groot has basically restarted on his life and age, so he’ll be more childlike in the new upcoming movie.

It has been confirmed that there will be several cut scenes at the end of the film, so make sure you stay after for some possible sneak peaks of future movies!
