The influencer Zuza Beine died at the age of 14 on September 22, 2025. Zuza died of AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia), which she had been battling for 11 years.

On Zuza’s Instagram page, it posted, “It is with broken hearts that we share that Zuza died yesterday morning. She lived 11 of her 14 years with relentless cancer, yet lived more fully and gratefully than most. Her being changed us forever, and her dying will too. It is no, she made captures what she was grateful for – a testament to a life filled with both beauty and suffering. More than anything, she wanted to be a normal, healthy kid. But what made her life so beautiful was how she learned to face the hardest circumstances, like her disease, and still live fully.”
The post broke hearts when it was posted, garnering over 3.1 million likes on Instagram and 4 million likes on TikTok. People were heartbroken when they found out. Zuza was an influencer who showed the reality of her condition and was a very thankful and kind person. Zuza gained millions of followers on Instagram documenting her 11-year struggle with leukemia.
Even though Zuza died, her spirit still lives on. She loved trying new hairstyles, she loved her pets, she loved Taylor Swift, and she loved finding joy in the little things in her life, but most importantly, she loved to make content for her followers. She found joy and cared for her followers. She made videos daily, giving updates on how she felt and showing how her condition affected her.
The freshmen Hayden Aldrup shared their thoughts on Zuza’s death,”I think that it’s really sad that she died so early, and I also think it’s really sad that she had to battle cancer for 11 years and didn’t make it out, but I think she’s in a better place,” Aldrup shares.
Freshman Makezie Gauger also shares, “I think that she is a really kind person, and she didn’t deserve to go so early, but I think that she really helped the social media world,” Gauger states.
