Eleanor Roosevelt has teamed up with Norco College  to offer high school students opportunities to take college classes as well as earn college credits and high school credits.

Classes will be held on campus after school two days a week.

Some universities (UC’s and private) will not except these credits! Please check with the colleges you are looking into!

The classes that will be offered and their requirements are:

  • Business Law : Must be a 10-12th grader
  • 3D Modeling : Must be a 10-12th grader
  • English 1A/1B- Must be an incoming 12th grader and pass a placement exam
  • Trigonometry- Must pass Integrated 3 with a B or higher

English 1A/1B and Trigonometry will be taught by college professors, not high school teachers. Please note that these classes will be rigorous and will resemble an actual college class.

One semester of English 1A/1B will count as two semesters of credit on your high school transcript and will start your college transcript GPA.

If taking a Math or English class, students are obligated to take a class on Wednesday mornings before school in order to help them handle a college class.

Students interested should speak to their counselor and attend a mandatory parent meeting on April 10th 6:30 pm in the cafeteria.
