The city of Eastvale is hosting a parade for Roosevelt’s boys’ basketball team at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 14th. Recently, Roosevelt’s team won the California Division I state title in Sacramento, California. The parade will begin at Eastvale Elementary and end in front of Eleanor Roosevelt High School (Mustang Way).

Following the parade, a pep rally will be hosted. Blaze Pizza (12523 Limonite Ave, Eastvale, CA) will also be offering a fundraiser from 6:30-9:30 p.m to benefit the team.

This season, Roosevelt’s boys’ basketball team had historic success. They won their first outright league title and went on to win the state title despite falling short in the Open Division Tournament. Additionally, Roosevelt managed to beat their local rival, Centennial High School, five times over the course of the season.
