Eleanor Roosevelt High School is hosting an Honor Role ceremony on Monday, February 24, 2025. This ceremony will be taking place in the cafeteria.
Depending on your last name, there will be different time slots to receive your award. If your last name begins with any letter A-H, your ceremony time slot will be from 5:00- 5:45 pm. If your last name begins with any letter I-P, your ceremony with take place from 5:45-6:30 pm and if your last name begins with any letter Q-Z, your time slot will be 6:30-7:00 pm.

If you or your student’s grades have placed them on Honor Role from the 1st semester of the 2024-2025 school year, then you or your student will be rewarded with a certificate and you will be able to take photos. You can check in at the Eleanor Roosevelt High School main campus theater foyer.
A student at Eleanor Roosevelt High School, Jenna Sanjhanaa, believes the Honor Role ceremony is a great way to recognize students for their academic achievements. She states,
“I do think it’s a good way to encourage students to have good grades because when everyone applauds you as your name is announced it shows that good grades are an important achievement that is worth getting.”
Grace Lee, a student at Eleanor Roosevelt High School, believes the Honor Role ceremony,
“is something to look forward to and get excited about when school gets hard.” Lee later states,
“I think it is good that Eleanor Roosevelt High School is hosting an Honor Role ceremony because it is a way to reward students for their success that they worked hard for.”
Receiving this academic achievement is a great way for students to be recognized for their hard work throughout the semester. This can encourage students to work hard to improve their grades.
