Recently, AI has become a hot topic in many different ways. One of the biggest topics is AI art, including art itself, writing, comic pages, and other creative aspects. So much goes into building AI that many people think is suspicious.
There are plenty of different opinions coming up due to the research coming up about AI. If you look online, some people think AI is stealing art from artists, while others believe it is a true art that could be given credit. According to Peyton Hill, a student at Norco College, he claims, “I use AI for all sorts of things. I primarily use it to help me write for my Dungeons and Dragons campaign, helping me flush out entire civilizations a lot quicker. AI can be misleading in some casts with statistics, over overall I love AI.” Some people such as Hill use AI to help flush out ideas and finalize creative ideas.
However, despite some people using AI to help, some people can be neutral on the topic.

Such as Fionn Odonnell, a junior at Eleanor Roosevelt High School says, “AI models like ChatGPT are large language models (LLMs). This means they’re basically glorified autocorrect: They receive user input and search for terms and phrases matching the input from data servers on the internet. All in all, AI has the potential to massively benefit humanity. But it’s limited and should be used cautiously and sole suit the needs of a select few.”
Many people have different opinions and different uses for AI, especially now that it’s affecting different workplaces and how it’s such a big topic. It’s important to do research on big things such as these while using them and hear other people’s inputs to fully understand every aspect.
