Daylight Saving Time Coming Soon!

Vannessa Robalino, Lowerclassmen Editor/Vice President

Have you noticed the sun setting everyday around 5:30? Does that mean anything now that the sun is lasting longer in the day? Aren’t sure of what’s happening?

Well, the activity of the sun is changing and sun is rising the way it is because Daylight Saving Time is near.

Daylight Saving Time (DST) is often incorrectly referred to as “daylight savings time.” In some countries, it is also called “summer time.” So get your clocks ready because on Mar. 12 at 2:00 a.m, you will basically be sleeping an hour less. “Spring forward, fall back” is one of the little sayings used to remember which way to set your watch. You set your clock forward 1 hour in the spring when DST starts (lose 1 hour), and back 1 hour when DST ends in the fall (regain 1 hour).

The first day of Spring is on Mar. 20, that also means that summer is near.  We have just 3 more months of school, Mustangs! So stay prepared and get ready to sleep less.
