Eleanor Roosevelt’s very own Boy’s Basketball is off to round two of the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF Playoffs). On Friday, February 17, 2017 the Eleanor Roosevelt Mustangs played against the Redondo Union Sea Hawks and took the winning lead, with a final score of 81-70!

The game took place at the Mustang Gymnasium. To start off the game, Mustangs took the lead of 4-0 within the first minute of the game! Playing a competitive game Redondo caught up taking the lead. The Mustangs did not let that stop them. As they were neck and neck for the majority of the third and fourth quarter the mustangs gained 11 points towards the end of the fourth quarter taking the lead and moving on to the next round of CIF playoffs!

Great Job Mustangs! Remember to come out and show some spirit for your fellow Mustangs this upcoming Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 7pm as they go into their second round of playoffs!
