Anxious to choose your next read? Well the month of October will have you prepared with sequels at every corner. A resurgence of fiction books being more and more popular due to “BookTok” has the hype for these books through the roof. Books from authors Adam Silvera to Colleen Hoover will be released this month.

In the new adult fiction genre for fans of “It Ends With Us” by Colleen Hoover, the sequel to her best selling book will be released this month. On October 18 “It Starts With Us” will give fans a continuation of Lily Bloom’s story. The book will be Lily reuniting with Atlas, her first love, two years after her divorce with ex-husband Ryle and the drama that will follow not only affecting Lily, but her daughter.

When asked if excited for “It Starts With Us” reader Raman Kaur said, “So freaking excited that I’m trying to distract myself by reading other books.”

In the fantasy genre, fans of “The Atlas Six” by Olivie Blake will see the sequel, “The Atlas Paradox,” be released on October 25. The book will be filled with dark academia vibes filled with betrayal and more. Six magicians are given an opportunity of a lifetime, but only five are now members of the society, find out the secrets and chaos in this sequel.

In the YA genre for fans of “Heartstopper” by Alice Oseman, a new graphic novel will be released. “The Heartsopper Yearbook” will be released on October 13, giving fans more content of the beloved characters.

When asked if excited for “The Heartstopper Yearbook,” reader Amber Frewing said “I’ve been in love with Alice Oseman’s books since the first book. Not only does it have great representation but it also tackles serious topics like ED, homophobia, etc. Now that the yearbook comes out out there will be even more reasons to love the books.”

In the Young Adult fiction category for fans of “They Both Die at the End” by Adam Silvera, a prequel was released on October 4. “The First to Die at the End” will follow Valentino Prince who registered for death-cast following his twin sisters near death experience and Orien who is scared of death due to his heart condition. The two meet and one receives a message from death-cast but one doesn’t. Find out how the two spend their time together and lives are changed following the call in this prequel.
