ABH Moonchild Glow Kit

Natalie Gonzalez, Staff Writer

Recently, I made the decision of purchasing the Anastasia Beverly Hills Moonchild Glow Kit, and let me just say that I do not regret it. I’ve seen many pictures and videos of it online, and it looked so beautiful. At first, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to spend $40 on this makeup product, but after seeing it so much, I just had to.

As I was impatiently waiting for it to arrive in the mail, I watched YouTube videos to see how others liked it. Everybody else seemed pretty pleased with what it had to offer. The glow kit isn’t for everybody due to how colorful it is; if you stick to more neutral colors then you most likely wouldn’t like it as much as others. It contains six different glittery colors which appear to come off as a blue, silver, purple, pink, green, and another shade of blue. These shades are called blue ice, star, purple horseshoe, pink heart, lucky clover, and blue moon.

This glow kit is meant for being used as a highlight on your face, even though I’ve seen videos of people putting it onto their eyelids as an eyeshadow. This makes it appear like a light shimmer eye color, and the highlight is a very pigmented glitter when applied. You can apply as much highlight as you would like, but just even a small amount alone show a huge difference.

In general, I highly recommend this product to everybody would might be interested in it. It’s definitely worth the price, and you won’t be disappointed in the results. For those of you who may or may not know, ABH is releasing a new glow kit partnered up with Nicole Guerriero, and is said to be out next month in March 2017. The outside packaging was shown to the public, but there is not much information about the shades on the inside. If you love all ABH glow kits, then be sure to check out this new launch coming up!
