Ainsley Young and Reese Sypowicz

Beware! This review contains spoilers!

I saw this movie with my co-author, Reese Sypowicz, last Saturday.

This movie starts with a family of tourists arriving at an exclusive beachside hotel. This family includes a mom named Prisca, a dad named Guy, a 6-year-old named Trent, and an 11-year-old named Maddox. They check into the hotel and the next morning, as they sit down at breakfast, a hotel employee approaches them and tells them about a gorgeous private beach, an exclusive offer. Who could say no?

However, when they arrive at the beach, they’re not quite alone. Seems like this wasn’t an exactly exclusive offer, but the beauty of the beach makes it hard to be angry. However, things quickly start to go wrong. Dead bodies, kids acting weird, a suspicious rapper, oh my! In the words of my co-author, “I don’t like this.”

This movie is NOT a family movie, despite it’s PG-13 rating. Certain parts of the movie were so creepy that my co-author had to hold me. Overall I give it a 6/10, and Reese gives it a 4/10.
