Half-Life: Alyx Release Date and Information on Valve’s Index Headset

Valve Software has announced that Half-Life: Alyx will be released on March 23rd, 2020.

The game has been available to pre-order for the past few weeks, and now the community is 5 weeks away from playing the game on PC.

Half-Life: Alyx is said to take place during the events of Half-Life 1 and Half-Life 2.You play as Alyx Vance and fight against the Combine who are the main antagonists of the storyline. One important factor in the game is that there is a series of puzzle.

Half-Life: Alyx is a virtual reality first-person shooter using the Source 2 game engine. Its platform runs on Microsoft Windows and is only purchasable on Steam: the game is not playable on console for the moment. Right now, Steam has placed a sale price of 10 percent off, lowering the price from $59.99 to $53.99.

It’s important to know the minimum requirements for the game to be playable on PC. If you’re just starting to get into PC gaming, you might want to consider upgrading your PC to run virtual reality.

We’re not even a month away from the release of Half-Life: Alyx and Valve’s Index VR headset is still completely sold out. The Index VR headset has been sold out in stores and online since mid-January. Road to VR stated the Vr system is still entriley sold out across multiple countries. Japan is the only country currently selling the VR headset without the controllers and base.

The HTC Vive is compatible with the game and for PC; as well as the Windows Mixed Reality headset and the Smsung Odyssey. Note, you can’t play the game without a compatible headset. The only known VR incompatible with PC is the PlayStation VR headset.
