As of April 1st, 2019 the Apple Computer company will be 43 years old. For the decades the company has given the world countless phones, computers, electronic accessories and so much more. However, Monday 25, 2019  is moving into a new era for the company that has long focused on hardware.

Apple is moving into the realm of Hollywood and production. The Tech giant announced on Monday that they are offering a new streaming video service that will push wider into original content and other digital services.

A verity of A-Listers attended the event in Silicon Valley to announce their original television projects.

Currently Netflix is the number one streaming service for movies and television shows with close followers of Hulu and Amazon Prime instant video. Streaming service Apple TV+ is launched with a clear intention to cut into the market that these companies and other top services have already made a mark in.

“I think its just a ploy to make more money and make up for falling stocks,” said junior, Natalie Burr. “The Apple TV+ isn’t going to be better than the other TV streaming services in my opinion. It feels like a half backed idea to make up for loss of money in recent times.”

Along with Apple TV+, the company introduced the Apple News+, Apple Card, and a new Apple Arcade.  These advancements journalism and finance are going to become footholds in the companies expanding business model.

Recently the publicly traded companies stocks have taken a hit and it is speculated that these new expansions are being used as a way to subsidize the loss in money.

The company debuts its new additions fall of 2019, under a curtain of scrutiny and speculation.
