In recent years, games have become a big part of our lives. Games have even become a sport for gamers that love playing and earlier this year, there was a tournament that was held in America for a PUBG game, according to the Try Guys video that covered one tournament out of many others they were attending.

Let’s face it. Our generation has become more tech-savvy in which everyone knows the computer, the tablet, the phone, at a very young age. So, who wouldn’t know about games? Well, games have been with us for a long time and it has upped the competition a bit. Even Google.

At the end of 2018, according to Fortune, “Google tested a service under the name of Project Stream. Games were run on cloud servers and streamed directly to players’ PCs, tablets, TVs, or pretty much anything with a screen.” This year, they have officially announced that they are going to branch out in the gaming field and expand what Google calls the, “vision for the future of gaming”.

It was announced on March 19 of this week that Google was going to attend Game Developer’s Conference and stream the keynote live on Youtube which has already passed, however, can be found in the link. They have also given the public a sneak peek of their progressing work with the Google Stadia.

Google is not alone in this gaming field. Sony had released the streaming service called PlayStation Now and Microsoft is currently working on a public trial for their project called Project xCloud, which will let players stream games onto their computer, tablets, and etc.

Video games will continue to grow in the entertainment industry and maybe in the future, we will see more of games impacting our daily lifestyles in many aspects that can help improve technology itself and ways to approach making products using game data simulation.
