The stage has been set for Super Bowl LIII, where the New England Patriots will face the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday,February 3 @3:30PM. Tom Brady and his Patriots are looking for redemption from last year’s game vs the Eagles. They lost 41-33 leading to the Eagles’ first Super Bowl victory.  On the other side , are the Los Angeles Rams who have a very young team compared to the veterans from the Patriots. Leading the Rams, includes Jared Goff

Joel Garay

and Sean McVay who are looking to become the youngest coaches to win the Super Bowl. There is a lot a stake with these two teams in the Super Bowl. Predictions for the winners have already been released and it looks like Patriots are heavy favorites. Joel Garay, a sophmore at Eleanor Roosevelt High School was explaining what this Super Bowl means to the NFL and how effective it is. He states, ” I think the two teams are going to represent how the young gun Rams are coming up in the NFL and then you have the system that has always been working since the Tom Brady and Bill Belichick Era began.”

When questioned what he was most excited for, he states that,”What i’m most excited to see is how Jared Goff and Todd Gurley will handle the big plays since this is their biggest game and they are two very young stars in the NFL. One thing that I will say though is that i believe that history will repeats itself. The Patriots are going to walk out of there as the Super Bowl Champions.”

To clarify, Joel was referencing Super Bowl XXXVI where the Rams faced the Patriots. This was there first meeting ever and the Patriots ultimately defeated the Rams 20-17 in a close fixture.

As Kevin Skiver from CBS NFL briefly put it, “…it’s a classic battle of old vs. new.” What do you think Mustangs, will the Patriots reign dominate in the league or will the Rams kick them off the throne? Comment down below your Thoughts and tune in on Sunday February  3 @ 3:30PM on CBS!
