‘Tis the season for Christmas spirit with the first day on Christmas starting off in our own city with a tree lighting. A tree lighting has always symbolized the start of Christmas and sparks the happiness and joy for this wonderful holiday.

In Eastvale, on December 1, 2018, a tree lighting event happened at the Eastvale Community Center located on Schleisman Rd and Harrison Ave. This event had a tremendous turnout; the even included Santa visiting and ready to hear all the little kids wishes and snow to brighten everyone’s day, not only did they have that but they had arts and craft for kids to express their artistic ways. Kids had a blast and parents had fun because who doesn’t love seeing kids with bright shiny smiles.

There attending this wonderful artistic event was Rose Bock who was representing Miss Eastvale. Being there she says it was “perfect for everyone of every age.” Another royalty member attended also. Eva Soni The Miss Eastvale Ambassador says “JCSD did an amazing job hosting this beautiful event for the community” she also said that she liked how they “Used the local school’s talents, making us more proud and patriotic towards our city in this Wonder Time of Year.”

Next year go out during Christmas to Eastvale’s tree lighting and experience the artistic characteristics.
