Varsity Football Playoff Statistics

Our Mustang Varsity Football Players have been hard at work this season. Between the ups and downs, the players have really come together and bonded as a team. With dedication and motivation, they made it to the playoffs. With a wild card spot, our varsity football team has to work extra hard to strive toward their ultimate goal, which is to win CIF.

This year, the football statistics consist of 150.4 receiving yards per game, 109.8 rushing yards per game, 28 total touch downs, 49.6 tackles per game, 31 sacks, and 11 interceptions. When coming together as a team, our mustangs always comes back stronger and ready to play their best game.

During season, our football team showed their love for the game by supporting breast cancer for the Pink Out game and showing their dedication.

I went around and interviewed some players and asked them what they expect out of playoffs.

Caleb Robinson, a senior on varsity, expressed his opinion on how play offs will be. “It is going to be hard, considering we were a wild card spot, but I know with the motivation from my teammates and my coach that we can achieve anything,” Robinson stated.

On November 2, our varsity team plays against Sierra Canyon High School, away at the Sierra Canyon field in Chatsworth, Calif. It’s a long distance away game, but if you can make it come out and support our mustangs!
