Motorcycling has been in history since the early 20th century and many Americans are known to love speed. However, when competing on the race track, there are accidents that happen when the contestants get competitive with winning a trophy.

Romano Fenati, a now former Italian Grand Prix motorcycle racer, has done the incredibly shocking. On Sunday, during the San Marino Grand Prix, Fenati was caught touching the brakes of a fellow competitor, Stefano Manzi, in motion.

As seen with the tweet from the host on Twitter, MotoGP states, “Black flag Romano Fenati for irresponsible riding”.

Many viewers have criticized Romano Fenati’s action on the racetrack and the Italian GPOne media took account of the agency’s statement:

Ā — “Getting a hold to the brakes of a rival when riding at such a high speed can be same of deliberately endangering the life of another, as well as the poor example given to millions of young people who follow the races. For this reason, this association decided to file a complaint with the Public Prosecutorā€™s Office asking the magistrate to determine whether the Fenati maneuver could constitute some kind of criminal offense, including attempted murder, and in that case accuse him and ask for a sentence if it seems appropriate.”

Hence the statement, Romano Fenati will be charged with attempted murder for the action against Stefano Manzi on his motorcycle, is banned from riding a motorcycle for a lifetime along with a terminated contract with MV Agusta, and is not permitted to step into any motorcycle race after publicly sabotaging a fellow competitor.
