First Pep Rally of the Year!
On this past Monday on the 19th of September, Roosevelt had its first pep rally of the school year. Our homecoming theme this year was the Main Elements.
Seniors were fire, juniors were water, sophomores were air, and freshmen were earth. We had some amazing performances made by our very own organizations at school, such as theater performing a musical scene from the movie “Grease,” Poly representing their culture, Dance showing off their hip hop moves, and last but not least Step Team with our cheerleaders always bringing in fresh routines. Our student sections were very enthusiastic and full of school spirit, especially the sophomores who also won the spirit competition during the third rally and the juniors who won the decoration contest.
The fall sports represented during the pep rally were Girls’ Tennis, Girls’ Golf, Boys’ Water Polo, Cross Country, Girls’ Volleyball, and, of course, our football team!
Good luck to our fall teams this year! Mustangs, come out to our Homecoming Game which is on September 23rd and the Homecoming Dance on September 24th.
