As we’re approaching the end of a glorious season of fall sports, we’re approaching the beginning of a new season of sports. Specifically basketball for one!

Even though the season hasn’t officially started *yet*, tonight’s the kickoff for the upcoming season, and to show a sneak peak of what to expect this year! ERHS’s annual Mustang Madness is happening tonight at 7:00 pm sharp and students couldn’t be more excited for it!

The Mustang Review got the opportunity to interview some of the participating contestants in tonight’s activities and they had a lot of positive energy and expectations for tonight, as well as how much they feel they’ve improved from last years event.

Varsity player David Agba had a lot of great feedback. “I feel like I’m gonna improve a lot this year especially in the dunking contest because last year I missed two out of three of them, and I intend to make up for that this year.”

When asked about future expectations for the season, this is also what he had to say.

“I think we’re gonna be really successful this year and we’ve got a lot of great talent and everyone is so dedicated and committed, so I’m looking forward to a great season.”
