The graduating AVID class of 2018 went on the annual senior AVID trip to Big Bear Lake.

Sharing laughs, tears, and lots of good times the trip truly opened the hearts of all the students, preparing them for the soon to come college life after high-school.

From walking on bats, working together in team building games, to enjoying s’mores by a bonfire, the seniors formed unbreakable bonds with one and other.

An AVID senior Calvin Heng described the trip as, “An unforgettable experience that changed my life forever.”

The trip wouldn’t of been possible without the amazing Roosevelt Staff, Mr. Hernandez, Ms. Muller, Mr. Wilson, Ms. Rosales, Ms. Williams, Enrique, Mr. Smith, and Ms. Schneider, sacrificing their own time to come up the mountain with the seniors.

The trip will continue to bring the AVID seniors of Roosevelt together for the years to come.
