Finn Wolfhard, one of the main characters in Netflix’s original show Stranger Things, was recently “hit up” by the 27 year old model Ali Micheal on Twitter in a tweet saying “Not to be weird but hit me up in 4 years @finnwolfhardofficial.”

The Stranger Things kids have recently been subjected to sexual harassment throughout social media. The ages of the kids range from 13-15, indicating their youth, yet people on social media (specifically Twitter) have been sexually harassing them, although they don’t take notice to every little comment still there for many to see.

I know the kids do get affected by those posts because how could they not? Under-aged teens being “hit on” by people who are way older than them is disgusting.

Here are the thoughts of two seniors from Eleanor Roosevelt High school, Jessica Jones and Ari Scott.

When asked if she’d heard of the 27 year old hitting on the strangers thing star Fin Wolfhard, Jessica Jones responded that she had.

“I think it’s really weird. They’re only children and it’s sad that if the roles were reversed we would take much more notice of how disgusting that is.”

I asked Jones how she would have felt if she was put in that position and she said “I definitely wouldn’t have felt comfortable-at least the person said they’d wait till 18 but still that’s just unnerving. I wouldn’t like that very much.”

Ari Scott was asked the same questions and to summarize up her responses she said “I have heard about whats going on and in my opinion is, kids in Hollywood need to be careful because of the nasty adults in the industry and it angers me because he’s only 14. If I were in his position I would just ignore it but try not to post a lot so they cant see what  I’m doing everyday but since he’s a kid that’s up to his agent.”
