Spirited away returned to theaters for a Sunday October 29th and October 30th! The special 2 day event took place at select AMC theaters with limited seating. Miyazaki fans filled the reclining theater seats and were spirited away by the big screen showing of an all time favorite movie.

Spirited Away follows the journey of a little girl named Chihiro who’s family took a drive to their new home when her life gets turned upside down. Making one wrong turn leads Chihiro and her parents down a path to what they believe to be an abandoned theme park. The theme park turns out to be a village for spirits to replenish themselves with food, events, and a famous bath-house. Chihiro getting separated from her parents leads her to an emotional and long journey to get back to them. From giant pigs, shape-shifting people, and a stalker spirit named No-Face, Chihiro matures from stubborn to self-sacrificing.
