The famous Las Vegas, Nevada was under lock down on October 1 when a 64 year old man held one of his many guns on floor 32 inside the Mandalay bay. Shooting out among thousands on people singing to Jason Andean killing fifty and wounding half a thousand. Among the tragic numbers, law enforcement protecting the surrounding areas were affected.
Those who are wounded major or minor, we give our thoughts and prayers to.
Bakersfield Police Officer, Aaron Mundhenke, was hit and taken to a hospital for treatment, expected to survive.
Ontario police officer, Michael Garcia, took a bullet to the head, when his girlfriend rushed to hold him being shot in the back. His girlfriend, Summer, is expected to be OK standing by Garcia who is in critical condition. Sgt. Jeff Higbee, a department spokesman said, “We are thinking about him, his family and all the other people involved,” going on speaking for a number of people “It’s a horrific scene.”

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Brad Powers is in critical but stable condition. San Bernardino County Sheriff John McMahon expresses. “Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers,”
This Action is still fresh in recovery for half a thousand people, having many still unidentified or names unreleased.
LA county Fire department had several hit by a bullet, having none of the injuries considered life threatening.
LA fire department had seven off duty men at the scene luckily having only two wounded. “Thankfully, their wounds do not appear to be life-threatening,” LAFD Chief Ralph Terrazas added . “Our thoughts and prayers are with them and their families and all of the people affected by this horrific and senseless tragedy.”
Las Vegas itself suffered one off duty officer dead , and two on duty officers wounded by gunfire expected to recovery after surgery and minor injures.
LA police Department has one guy wounded in the leg on the road to recovery. This being the only LA Police officer wounded from the massacre.
Orange County off duty sheriff wounded along with two family members but no lives are threatened from the injuries.
New Port Beach police department has two injured employees both expected to make it through.
Riverside County, a deputy sheriff is in critical condition and a correctional deputy was released after recovery of injury.
Orange County sheriff severely wounded from gunshots in lower abdomen and thigh.
Torrance Fire department employee was shot at the event currently undergoing surgery.
Margie Christensen, a former dispatcher of Ontario Fire and friend to many of law enforcment injured speaks up to say,”With all of these heroeos fighting for their life , recovering, or buying flowers for their co workers, its time to take a moment to not only appreciate what the law enforcment does, but to pray for those involved in the shooting directly/indirectly.” Take a moment of silence for those 60 people who have lost their lives in the Mandalay Bay , 600 wounded fighting to recovery, and those connected to them.
