Marsaydí’s Reviewwwww!!!!

1. Star

Leaving as much detail as possible, let me tell you about the wonders provided in “Star“. The first episode! Man the first episode, The Winner Take It All In, the premiere of the second season of “Star“….was GREAAATTT. So, let me provide a little summary to avoid spilling the beans.

Star happens to go to far measures, -as she always does-, to make sure her upcoming music group gets a date of release for their album. However, the pressure increases as the girls cope with the death of Hunter, and Simone struggles with being bullied. On to Alexandra, she moves in with Derek ,-*shocked*-, and overlooks their complicated relationship to do so. Then, there is Carlotta, the OG, who faces difficult decisions regarding managing the singing group after their victory at Atlanta NextFest. So, what does she do? She seeks advice from Jamal Lyon over looking the complications in their relationship.

The episode has so much going on in it, but that is what makes it great. One of Eastvale’s residents, comments that “it’s a whole lot of stuff going on” and “it’s crazy drama, but hey it’s good.”

Going on, it is a everlasting blob of situations which creates a sense of suspense along with the feeling of curiosity as I try to predict what will happen next.

In addition, if you would like to get a feel of the series, I recommend you take a look at the trailer above. If you are interested, then head to Fox or make a Hulu account -you should already have one, because how can you be alive if you don’t- and start from season one!

Empire’s” first episode, Noble Memory, starts of with as much going on as “Star“. But, it wouldn’t seem as much from my little summary, unless you have been following along with the show.

Anyway. In the episode, Lucious Lyon, finally, finally, and FINNALLLY, -*in Jessica Hilarious’ voice*-, makes his first appearance after the explosion. Along with his appearance, the Lyon family are focused on Lucious regaining his physical and mental faculties due to each of their own motivated interest. There is more going on, but to prevent excessive details, this is the basic idea of the episode.

A little spoiler, the two shows will crossover as Carlotta will come face-to-face with the Lyon family members: Cookie, Lucious, and Jamal Lyon.

So, if you would like to follow along with the two music-filled drama series. Please, watch the previous seasons before jumping in drama filled pool OR you will be terribly lost. And, I won’t be able to save you from the L you have committed by confusing yourself.

Back to the topic. The two shows are aired on Fox on Wednesday nights, “Empire” appears at 8 p.m. as “Star” follows a hour later at 9 p.m.
