Spirit week is when students celebrate their school pride, like doing activities that relate to the schools teams, wearing the schools colors and doing spirit week contest. It’s usually done before the school’s homecoming. ERHS student Lorraine Scott said, “I’m excited for spirit week. I’m a freshman, so I’m happy to try school activities for like this” “I’m going to do absolutely everything.”

Here is a variety of things you can do for spirit week. You can do ugly sweater day, crazy hair day, school colors, or seniors wear black, juniors wear orange, sophomores wear red, freshman wear blue, and things like that.

Spirit week is one of those school activities that is part of the high school experience. It’s something you can do with your friends to have fun and they usually have pep rallies to go with spirit week so it should be a blast.
