Eleanor Roosevelt cheerleaders have been hosting opportunity and experiences this week of September 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th. The varsity cheerleaders have been working with girls and boys , ages five to eighteen to prepare for the Friday night football game September eighth. Learning Roosevelt cheers to cheer on the Varsity football team, then learning halftime routines with; dancing, jumping, stunting, tumbling to perform at half time.

The Participants in the  clinic with Varsity cheerleaders are having a blast and very enthusiastic  about the game on Friday. I’ve talked to several varsity cheerleaders about their thoughts of the clinic and the participants . Gabbie Stewart said,” these girls are super talented with a nice and fun personalities.” Over the past few years the clinic week leading into Friday, the varsity and JV cheerleaders would handle the clinic, but for this year only Varsity took control. I anticipated this to a returning varsity cheerleader and asked for her input. Gabbie Stewart stated ” I mean if I was on JV and freshmen I would want to help, but with varsity and song it’s too many girls on the field.”
