Although ERHS emphasizes on working hard for college and aiming for a higher education through a college bound pathway, let it be known that choosing a different path that fits you as a person is as ideal as college.
Society has a way of looking down on blue collared jobs and through media, creating a negative stigma about plumbers, waste collectors, etc.
But these are quality and genuine careers.
In the 2015 the top plumbers had a salary of $89,720, while the ones in the bottom percentile received $29,680 a year.
Compare that to a registered nurse’s top salary of $82,490 and in the bottom percentile $55,320.
Trade and Vocational Schools are a good source for anyone who wants to go into a specific skill, offering all but not limited to the jobs from this list:
