As the school year comes to an end, there are mixed feelings and emotions that students are feeling. This is often one of the saddest parts of the year, but for some students it’s a relief and they feel happiness. Let’s talk about this school year and the year ending.

There are many memories from this school year such as sports games, school dances, other school events, and many more. This school year will definitely be one to remember.

There was also a lot of surprises that came with this school year. Sandra Wu, a freshman in the district said, “I never knew to study until I walked into my math class.” High school has a lot of surprises to it and we often learn things that we did not know before.

There are also a lot of mixed emotions about the year ending. Lily B., a student in the district has mixed feelings about it. B. said, “I feel a little sad that the school year is ending, but I also feel so much excitement because that means summer is coming up.” This is often a bitter sweet time because of the sadness of the year ending but also the happiness and relief of summer coming up.

With the school year ending, that also means that the next school year will be here before we know it. Alex Zhou, a student in the district, is already excited for the next school year. Zhou said, “I’m excited for my next school year because I get to see those who I want to be around everyday.”

There were many memories and different feelings thinking back on this school year. If this school year was not the best, there is always next school year. The memories that were made will always be carried with us for the rest of our lives.
