Since last week, I have been volunteering for football after school, and it has been fun watching the players practice. I stay busy helping with setting drills, doing laundry, and turning on the scoreboard, and the best part is I am with my friends the whole time.

The coaches are nice; they tell me what to do and show me how to do things right. I have seen all the drills football has been doing, and they do it very well. Wide receivers are fast and ready to get the job done, the quarterbacks show what they can do. And the defense is my favorite position because of how they perform on the field. The coaches are very good at their job, and they know how to help their players.

In an interview with a co-worker of mine, Devin Mendoza, I asked him what he thinks about volunteering. He said:

¨I enjoy volunteering; it is fun, and I like helping out and seeing the football team play.”

In an interview with the coach, Aaron Crone, I asked him what he thinks of the team so far. he said:

¨They’re doing great, the coaches and I added new routines, and it works fine.”

I think our team is doing well so far with their new routines, and they look great out there. It looks like they know what they are doing, and they have great coaching out there.

Roosevelt has so far to improve in football. I will say that their football seasons have not been good, but with these new coaches and new routines, and players, I feel like Roosevelt has a bright future ahead for them. And I hope the best for Roosevelt this season, and I hope to go to a game this year through my volunteering.
