Prom was on Saturday, and it was a fun event for our students. I was there and I had a fun time with my friends. There were many fun activities like cornhole, kaorkae, photo booth, and casino, of course dancing. The DJ was good; he had people dancing and played good music most of the time at the prom. Many people were there, like friends or couples, and many enjoyed their time there. This was my first prom, and it lived up to the expectations I had for it.

In an interview with a student, Adonai Ngotho, I asked him about his prom experience. He said:

¨It was amazing, and I had a great time at prom.”

In another interview with Salvador Rameriez, a student at ERHS who also went to prom, I asked what he thought of prom overall. He said:

¨It was fun because I went with my friends and we had a good time.”

For me, I had a good time at the prom, it was my first one, and it was fun because I was there with my friends doing activities like cornhole, and the food was good. We did a lot of things at the prom, and in the end, all the fun made me sleep for a long time once I got home.

Prom royalty winners were announced at the end of prom, and the winners were Jayden Cerna for prom king and Adurey Kuoch for prom queen. Seeing them win prom royalty was cool because of how much they wanted to win prom royalty, like everybody else who ran for the court, and in the end, the winners were happy for everybody who voted for them.

During almost the whole prom, I saw dancing, playing games like they have at a casino, doing kaorake, and people enjoying their time at the prom. And that is all for prom, thank you for reading my article about prom, I hope you enjoyed it, see you in my next story, bye. 🙂
