South Coast Cheer is a cheer gym located in Orange, California.
At South Coast Cheer, they pride themselves in not only developing top athletes but in building integrity, strong work ethics, and life-long interpersonal skills. Their teams are led by the finest coaches with proven track records of excellence. There, athletes become leaders and mentors. Throughout their time at SC, athletes build community, confidence, and character. The mission for them is to develop leaders on and off the mat.
The owners of the gym, Jordan Alcazar and Nikki Rae Little, are one of the best coaches in cheer history. Alcazar started his passion for cheerleading in 2007. He has coached in North Carolina, Illinois, and California. Jordan is background-checked, safe sports-certified, and credentialed in levels 1-6. In 2019, Alcazar led Robert Morris University to its first NCA title. Alcazar holds many national titles, including Worlds, Jamfest, Summit, UCA, NCA, and the Majors. Little, on the other hand, has been in cheerleading since 2003. She has coached all ages and abilities. Little’s teams have numerous big titles like worlds, Jamfest, majors, Summit, and NCA.
This cheer gym has taught me so much and brought so many titles to my name. The staff at SC Cheer is Savannah Segal, Riley McName, Shani Whitehead, Johnny Castro, Amy Gennele, Peter Nguyen, Brittany Dill, and Rudy Borgonia. Being an athlete has taught me self-discipline, leadership, sisterhood, love, and friendship. My time at South Coast Cheer has been nothing but a blessing, and I’m so beyond grateful I was given the opportunity to cheer at this gym.
When you’re a part of South Coast Cheer, you’re part of a big family that supports you through everything. Based on my experience of being an athlete at this gym, I would call it the best gym with the best coaches around the world.
A freshman at Eleanor Roosevelt High School, Claire Lee said, “I think it’s an amazing program for cheerleaders to go to.”
Another freshman at ERHS, Cydd Adiano, said, “This gym sounds great for building better character strengths.”
