Its #Nationalpuppyday 🐶! This puppy celebration was founded in 2006 by Colleen Paige. Colleen is known for her work as Celebrity Pet & Home Lifestyle Expert. She is also the founder of National Dog Day and National Cat Day. National Puppy Day spreads appreciation and brings awareness towards puppies mills. There are countless of orphaned pups out there that need to be saved. Puppies can give unconditional love and offer loyal companionship. To celebrate all the puppies out there here’s a list of what you can do:

1. Go to a local shelter and adopt a puppy
2. Donate money, food, or toys to your local shelter
3. Have a puppy party with friends and their puppies
4. Post pics of your puppy with the #nationalpuppyday
5. Host an event to raise money for an animal shelter
6. Volunteer at an animal shelter(offer to walk a puppy, clean cages)
7. Take your puppy to the beach
8. Throw out chemical cleaners and buy non-toxic cleaners to keep your puppy safe & cancer free
9. Teach friends or children to be kind to dogs such as never pulling on their ears or tail
10. Pledge to be patient and kind to all puppies, never hit or yell at them
